fairly interesting day
Today was a fairly interesting day to say the least. The noteworthy events in somewhat chronological order:
Texting H in the morning if she wanted to hang out in the afternoon, getting an “I’m not feeling well” sort of response. Realizing I've been getting similar responses for almost a month now. Asking pointblank if she was pregnant. Finding out my suspicion, actually more like premonition, has come to fruition. Despite months of “condom condom condom” lectures and being a nudge away of actually giving her a pack before one of her (I assumed) rendezvous with her boylet. Thinking that if I pursued her, she wouldn’t be pregnant now.
Meeting up with N for coffee, N telling me N’s girlfriend’s mom is propositioning N, and telling N “I love you more than [my husband].” N’s girlfriend being obviously oblivious. N and girlfriend’s WHOLE family going on a trip soon. Me laughing my head off over the entire fiasco.
Sales person singing an extremely off-tune version (and wrong-lyriced) version of “Alone” and the Shakira classic “Whenever, Wherever”, while buying synthetic leather shoes.
Hearing mmmBop blasted at full volume on my way to the money machine.
Oh what things will unfold next…
