Author gushings
Ok, I've mentioned about my new, ~embarrassing~ addiction to Romance novels, right?
I have found the funniest author that I have ever read - in Romance! Jennifer Crusie has cured that "I never really laugh that much" problem I've had for years! I just howl when I read her books. The first one I picked up at Goodwill (for $0.33!) and I absolutely loved it. The mpuzzle was in the basement working on his toy gun and he could hear me upstairs even over the loud dehumidifier in the basement with him.
The first one I read was "Bet Me" (2004) and now I'm about 3 pages from the end of "Getting Rid of Bradley" (1994 - I picked this one because it was so much older that I thought "maybe she wasn't this good before" - wrong!).
I think this author will earn some money from royalties from me. I have got to own more of her books!
