i've been swimming in memnoch the devil for most of the day. i love this, i think this has to be one of my favorites out of the chronicles. everything is so tangible and convincing. and its so strange, to travel through heaven with lestat and memnoch and suddenly fold the corner of the page, set the book down and remember you haven't believed in god in five years. it becomes hard to remember. anne rice is incredible.
