Reflections of a weekend.

This weekend was pretty fantastic.

-Friday-
Showcase was AMAZING.
Everyone was unbelievably remarkable, of course.
Thanks to everyone that went. It really meant a lot to us performers.
And props to Grant for writing me a kick-ass monologue.
I hope everybody enjoyed it.

-Saturday-
The VNSA book sale at the State Fair grounds was completely rad.
It's a tradition my good friend and I do every year. We wake up annoyingly early, wait in line in the cold for hours, and buy WAY too many books.
It's fabulous.
One of the many I purchased this year is The Lovely Bones. A book I've been meaning to buy and read for years. And fate finally lead me to it.
It's really a terrific novel.
Read it.

-Sunday-
Mr. Redding's wicked ways are slowly driving me to insanity.
"So, I'm going to be collecting ALL the homework from the beginning of the semester...you had better not be lying on your homework sheets."
Thank God for the "friends help friends beat the system" policy.

Currently, life is...better than average.
And I'm good with that.
