wow.
so, me and julie went and saw NCHS' production of Guys and Dolls on friday.
it was pretty a.m.a.z.i.n.g. but i wanted to kill the sound guy! for many of the songs, all that could be comprehended was every other word! gah. that part was blah. but all the actors were INCREDIBLE! robyn was breathtaking, rocky was adorable, and melissa was superb! and i had no idea that kid in my english class could sing! wow.
haha. and mike. wow. i love that kid to death. his head would inadvertently whip about from person to person, as if he was watching an intense tennis match! haha. he was hilarious. "i wished i didn't have to come to this prayer meetin', and now that i'm here...i still wish it."
so, there is this big tango number in the middle of the play. and me and julie are watching this incredibly short man shake his butt around, when i turn to julie and say, "oh my! that man has boobs!...oh my! that man is TANYA!!!" haha. wow.
apparently tanya was standing in for chris who caught ill just before the play. haha. wow. i will never be able to get the image of tanya's "man jigg" out of my head! haha.
needless to say, friday was an incredibly awesome night. and i'm so glad i spent it with julie! i love that girl.
