yay!!! i'm updating!!!
so california was sooo incredibly awesome. i did fabulous at my swim meet. i am so happy with my times... and plus! 2 of the relays i was on broke the national record, so that was definately exciting. our hotel was old. the water was like a light switch, it went hot then cold then hot. good thing i had the pool to take a shower in. we stayed in santa ana and our meet was in mission viejo. it was soo pretty there, and the beach was actually close. we went there for 2 nights. oh it was so pretty. apparently the ocean has little algae and when the waves crash, they light up bright neon green. It was like the northern lights but in the water. i wish i had a camera. oh, so this guy who was on my relay (he's extremely fast. his breastroke 50 is faster than my free). well his mom was all.. you guys were the red-headed relay (his hair's red). is my hair red? no! i almost told her, my hair is not red (like in my defensive voice), but i decided to keep my mouth shut and just smile and nod.
so we went to disneyland on the last day! omg! so much fun... i really needed a break from everything (a.k.a. work). so nicole and i were on space mountain. we got the fast pass. no need waiting in like for an hour and 15 minutes! anyways, so (don't want to ruin the ride) but we're on it. half way through, we come to a sudden stop. seeing how at the beginning we were warned of sudden stops, we thought it was part of the ride. so we're sitting there for awhile,,,, hmmm,,, thinking it's actually not part of the ride. Then, the lights come on! we got to see the inside of space mountain! beat that! We're there probably 10 minutes. people are taking pictures. we see the work guys down below and they're pushing the first car the rest of the way, then the next car (spaceshuttle) and then maybe another, then he gives us a push, and we go down our first fall, and we actually had a lot of momentum from that fall. oh man, it was so much fun, then they asked if we wanted to go again. OF COURSE! Who wouldn't? So we went again and it was soooo much fun. i loved it. we knew when our picture would be taken, so i posed, and nicole, who knows what she did, but she looked like she was falling on the ride. her expression cracks me up - my older sister thought it was funny, especially since we weren't even going down. oh yea, so we went on the canoe ride and there's this guy that was smiling at nicole and i (he worked there). and then later that night, we cut through the parade (before it started) and we saw him and he said hey or something and kept looking at us and smiling. But somehow he remembered us. obviously he had the hots for nicole!
driving in cali was definately interesting. okay, i thought driving there was supposed to be all fast. i mean, i was passing up all those drivers. very disappointing... well, it was in cali were i found my love for speed racing. ooh, so i figured this out about california driving (i told nicole this), the drivers there are like dogs, they like to sniff each others butt while driving.
