THIS IS SO MANY KINDS OF AWESOME. I love how strong the atmosphere is, and how cohesive the whole thing feels. It all comes together so splendidly, and I find myself caring about what happens just from reading it. Fun map too, full and detailed, but still clear and simple. GOOD WORK.

You just have to eventually fix the world, because it would break my heart to leave Jimmy and Lorne so sad and pitiful. Maybe you can do what I'm thinking of doing, and have two parts in a sense. The first time you go through the level, you can have him leave the place in shambles. Later on, when Ssam has more items and has progressed further in the game, he could either choose to come back and fix things to get some bonus item to make things easier, or come back and fix something in order to get something he needs later on. For my world, I'm probably going to have a "stage one" where Ssam just gets through it, outwits UnSsam, and gets his most precious memory back. Later on, he can (or has to, not sure if it's optional yet) come back and solve the problems the rest of the land is facing, and get something out of it.

Since Igor and Bobeboe's cottage is also chock full of random crap, later on in the game (after Ssam has left your world all flooded), Ssam could always find a second, REAL plesiosaur skull, or else something even more interesting/valuable that he could trade the collector back for the skull to set things right. You could obviously have him find it in your world, but if you wanted to have a crossover with mine, I'd be open to it. I'll let you know if I think of anything for my world that might be in the Collector's Cabin.
