Sketchblam!

Aug 28, 2006 01:40

So I got some freetime today to draw and NOTHING GOOD WOULD COME OUT. I'm torn between actually finishing sketches and getting all the ideas out of my head so I bounce around from one sketch to another without much progress.

That being said, I figured I'd just dump all the new drawings I've done since the last update. Why not?

Lots of unfinished stuff in here )

ellipsis, sheana, police disco lights, public, skin deep, Sfé, may kings, helpless dancers, jerk lasses, black nailpolish

GOD, WHO LOVES SKETCHJOURNALS? I LOVE SKETCHJOURNALS.

I agree with your thoughts on recent boy fashions, too. I just want a few more sweatervests and I'd be pretty much set for life.

Tiny lineups are basically my favourite things. Ever. I noticed today that mine get increasingly larger as I draw them- the originals were itty bitty, and now I cant even fit four to a page. Way to go, Sophia. While we're at it: Eleanor and the Four Horsemen are characters I could hear about more. Seriously. Who's awesome? They's awesome.

I also just adore Stradivarius. I'm really into different body shapes these days so he gets all my "fuck yes" points. Also his fez is just great.
AND ANTHONY'S "OH GOD WHY DO I HAVE FEATHERS WTF WTF WTF" FACE IS FABULOUS. I'm assuming that's what's going on seeing as he has all his feathers where they should be. Man, who loves Police Disco Lights? I love Police Disco Lights. Blanche's hair? yes, ladies.

And David and George are my favourite. hahaah, you are hilarious.

I need to finish my tiny linups so I'll feel productive again. Dear Kory: Stop making up new characters. Kthnx, Kory. YOU KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO? MAKE UP NEW CHARACTERS ( ... )

I was gonna comment last night but I had to go to bed and was too tired to post coherently. BUT I'M HERE NOW.

Me three as far as fashion goes. I'm glad people are starting to realize again just how awesome the '60s and '70s were in certain ways, haha.

Woot yet again for teeny tiny lineups. I can't wait to see another lineup sheet, man. I like seeing everybody inked and colored and together in one place. Haha, Eleanor's going to take up so much room lounging.

YAY DENNIS. He's quite adorable. Looks like he's waiting to snatch any juicy bugs that Alec may reveal under that claw. Hakuna Matata. And even though they're only half-finished lawls at Ultimate Bearhug Alec and Paul Call Me Horse Ass One More Time And I'll Eat Your Face Pete.

Also I was rushed towards the end of that so I forgot to say, lawls David and George. Paisley is forever awesome. And I like that George would actually call somebody a tool and David just doesn't care as long as he LOOKS awesome.

I'm probably going to put another character over Eleanor's tail or something. I had to have her lying down, man. It illustrates her whole quadruped/biped thing she's got going for her.

Dennis is pretty adorable. Of course fluffy baby anythings are pretty cute. Ultimate Bearhug. Sounds like a fighting move that anime characters scream while jumping.

George would call someone a tool. He picks up on language very quickly (usually after hearing someone speak it for a few hours he can mimic it himself), but he'll often get slang wrong or mix up sayings. Sometimes he gets it right, though. Also I love David. He fits my "if it's swooshy I'll draw it" rule.

I love looking at all your drawing and sketches. They're super awesome, y'know.

I'm digging the new boys fashion, too. Jackets are neat, especially when they're pink (or they're wearing pink pants). Like Sophia said, with a few more sweatervests, everything would be grand.

I love these little lineups that everyone is doing. They're really niffty and it packs a bunch of art into one page.

Eleanor is pretty neat. I haven't seen much of her, and I don't remember much about the 4 Horsemen.

It's really groovy when all yous draw each other characters.

George's paisley language makes me grin. Paisley is great and your George is really neat, too. Yes, GO BUGS!
