Little Red Riding Hood, Lorne and Leah, Jerk Lads
No, I haven't done anything for any of the multiple projects I have going on. Why? Because I have a sickness. A sickness that infects my inspiration and makes me want to do everything but the things I should be doing. Well, that's a lie, 1/3 of this update is for a school project I guess.
Okay children, let me tell you right now that I have fallen head-over-heals in love with the wolf design I cooked up for this project. Lets hope I can make it look cool when I color it. I better, because I think it's awesome. You should like it too. This is just a random page from my pages upon pages of sketches for this project.
Today I got a sudden burst of "OMG DRAW LEAH" inspiration so I decided to design her full form more completely. I'm not too good at bobcat anatomy, because they're smaller and shorter and more compact and fluffy than lions are. So I was just foolin'. And then the bottom one was just an idea I was throwing around involving Lorne and Leah. Because she turned when she was 20 (I think I have her Turning written down as 15 or something, but it's supposed to be 20), she has a lot of problems controlling herself during stressful situations. The earlier in life a human-born Turns the more time one has to get used to the flood of natural instincts and senses and what-have-you that go along with being whatever animal someone becomes. Lorne is fairly comfortable with himself, Greg not-so-much and Michelle is totally lost. When Leah gets stressed out she tends to just lose her concentration on her human form and attack whatever's closest to her. Usually it's Lorne. Lorne's trying to break her of this habit.
What? I like the drawing. Lorne has buck teeth. I bet you didn't know that.
So I was sitting in my friend James's room and I was thinking "Right now I'm going to draw whatever I want to draw."
Jack, my punk/nu-swing jackelope has an on-going thing he does where he'll headbutt people for money. I figured the Jerk Lads would take up this offer as much as possible. Not my best comic but hey, it's Paulie with his liberty spikes down. Also there's John and Johnny, my favorite angry cynical duo. Jerk Lads are, of course, lady_dragona's wonderful characters.
