worcester vs. boston round 1
I realized I haven't written anything of substance or relevance in awhile so here goes:
I realized last night (and I probably have realized this before but negelected to accept it) that worcester "punks" are 1000000x cooler/nicer/funner/better than boston "punks"...and I'm moving to Boston so this makes me a bit sad. No offense to my real friends in the Boston area (mainly only the girls + some male exceptions) but the Boston scene is uh...retarded to put it simply. Boston punks are elitist idiots that seriously don't even know what the fuck they're talking about; and yes I am making biast, unfair judgements. Being an asshole or really really full of yourself doesn't make you "wicked punk", it just makes you a stupid fuck. Same for being in a gang, not punk just laughable. I had so so much fun last night at the grind show in worcester, so happy I didn't go to the stupid blanks 77 show. I think I'm gonna try and hang out in worcester more than I do Boston; for one things it's obviously more easily accesible than taking the commuter rail to Boston and well...I don't feel like shit when I hang out in Worcester. Pretty much everytime I go to Boston some asshole ends up making me feel like shit. I don't know why I let it get to me, but it does. Obviously being a nice, accepting person doesn't get you very far in Boston; it's more about knowing who's who and your abc's of punk.
