Just in case people were wondering, and haven't googled it, there's a protest on Twitter about a guy being convicted under a Bloody Stupid Harassment law*.
Step 1) Man is pissed off during Ash Cloud OMG!Snow crisis as he has somewhere to be that involves flying.
Step 2) Man tweets 'Crap! Robin Hood airport is closed. You've got a week to get your shit together, otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!'
Step 3) Random person has a serious sense of humour failure and takes it seriously.
Step 4) Two of our finest judges decrees that it is a menacing threat and Man should pay a fine and court costs.
Step 5) TWITTER ASPLODE!
Step 6) Fuck knows, probably nothing but would be awesome if the appeal goes through based on the fact that they're not going to try and prosecute the AT LEAST 3500 PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIRECTLY RETWEETED IT.
Step 7) Profit by Man selling the story to a tabloid - no, really, I'd endorse that at this point. Poor fucker has lost his job because of this twattery.
