The new "Universal Word"
So I'm at work the other day, and a group of 3 Hispanic men come in with several garbage bags full of cans. I don't pay much attention, cause bags of cans is pretty normal. Then one of the cashiers says, "they have tons of Sam's Choice pop cans. Go tell them we don't take those." Thinking I would be mad if I got all my cans opened only to find the store doesn't take them, I head to the bottle room for a quick explanation.
Unfortunately, I quickly find that the men understand very little english. I had to somehow tell them we didn't except Sam's Choice, so I pointed at a can and said "Walmart". It was like a light went on! They reply, "Walmart!" and then head out to the car.
So there you go. Walmart has replace Hello as the Universal word. We should all have a moment of crying for this.
On a separate note - I got lotso Halloween stuff done this weekend! Finished one of my graveyard signs yesterday, and today finally finished my coffin! Hurrah!
Now, I'm off to my cousin's wedding reception.
