Avengers fic rec!
I was just going through my fave fics bookmarks when I rediscovered this fic and thought it too awesome not to share:
Some Things Shouldn't Be a Chore by scifigrl47
Summary:Steve takes things like personal responsibility and respect seriously. Tony's got people he pays to take care of that kind of thing, and anyway, he's pretty sure that he's going to die of some exotic disease in his workshop, because Dummy's still a little spotty about what is 'clean' enough to put on an open wound. The rest of the Avengers are in this for personal gain, except for Clint, he just enjoys being a dick.
And some things shouldn't be a chore.
Rec notes: This is a long crack fic (over 22,000 words) which is absolutely hilarious. If you enjoy reading about Tony and his relationship with bots, this will a fun read for you. There's also an equally hilarious sequel called Ordinary Workplace Hazards or SHIELD and OSHA Aren't on Speaking Terms that is a must read as well, especially for fans of the fanon of Hawkeye loves to crawl around/live in air ducts. The two fics are part of a series; the third one is a WIP.
