Update (aren't they all?)
Hey look, a real live update!
Let's see, what's going on in my life right now. Well, first of all GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, baseball has been the main focus of my life for the past couple weeks and will continue to be since the Phillies are now in THE WORLD SERIES!!!!! WHEEEEEE!!!!!
I'm watching Pete's Dragon right now from Netflix. Gotta love '80's Disney musicals. Seriously. Good stuff. I think I used to watch this a lot, since I kinda remember all the songs...
What else did I watch a lot when I was younger? Well, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, which I now own and watched just a few weeks ago (and Dan likes now, too, which means I get to watch it once every couple months). One movie which I used to watch all the time was The Journey of Natty Gan. I loved that movie. Ha ha, I just added it to my Netflix queue. Let's see, there was Milo and Otis, which may be responsible for my love of pugs.
Okay, sorry for that little tangent. What else is up? We finally hung up the pictures in our apartment, after only 2 months. I think we only have 1 or 2 unpacked boxes right now, yay! Having my parents and grandparents over for dinner tomorrow. My mom convinced me that our table can fit 6, but then I belatedly realized that we only have 4 chairs, so my parents are bringing two more tomorrow.
Pets - I live with Dan, so of course we have acquired more pets - a hairless rat that looks like a ballsack that we named Jabba (that will be spending most of his time at Dan's school) and tomorrow we are getting a kind of a crazy-ass lizard called a Uromastyx.
Basically, life is good, we have a good routine, work is work (and a paycheck is a paycheck), our apartment rocks, our dog is cute, we are being a certain amount of social, there is a bar in our building, and in general all is well :-)
