I watched Star Trek on IMAX today and it was so wonderful. It was my 4th time seeing the movie (twice in theaters, and a decent bootleg in Guatemala), but I knew it would be even awesomer (it's a word) on IMAX and I was right! It was. And right before that, we saw the Star Trek exhibit at the Franklin Institute (it's in its last 2 weeks, which is why they brought the movie back to IMAX for a couple weeks). I had read a review online about the exhibit that kind of dissed it, so I was a little bummed/skeptical going into it, but WHATEVER!! It was totally awesome! First there were all these models of ships and costumes, and it was like "this is nice" and then we looked over and saw the bridge! Of the Enterprise! From TNG. And it was awesome. We sat in all the chairs and played with all the consoles and said "beep boop beep" when we pretended to press the buttons. And there was also an engineering set up. It was so fun and dorky and that was with keeping the dorkitude to a minimum. Now I want to watch all the Star Treks ever. Good times...
