new skin
ok. pretty much just a month left of school plus exam. READY-SET-GO!!!
i'm going to work in a carnival over the summer. no joke, i did my phone interview on sunday and they gave me the job. for two and a half months i'll be working in calgary. i'll have the weekends off and i'll probably be taking trains all over central canada. lets see how much trouble i can get myself into. i'll have a shit load of money at the end of it too. i'm thinking about buying a piece of junk car and driving it back to newfoundland when it's all said and done. we'll see how it goes. either way i'm really looking forward to it. i don't think i'm going to tell a lot of people about it too. i think i'm just going to disappear for the summer. might even try to avoid facebook and bluekaffee while i'm away. but i will take my camera, and i will take a billion pictures.
i hung around with the cute girl i met at that random party a while back over the weekend (i connected four). wine, dancing, eye contact... my place or yours? we woke up at the exact same time the next morning. we made eye contacted and just lay there, smiling, not saying anything for a long time. it was different, and nice. we did eventually end up talking, of course. i told her about me, and she told me about her. she's actually a pretty opened individual. i think i like her. i think we'll hang out again. she sent me some more lenard cohen quotes again today. crazy hippie.
you know, when i first heard this album (neon bible) i really didn't like it... to the point where i had to throw my hands up in the air and scream "oh come on, what happened to you guys?" but as of lately it's been really growing on me. i must have listened to the whole album from front to back three or more times today.
