I just heard about this film, Death of a President, that caused a huge stir at the Toronto Film Festival. I'm sure I'm way behind everyone else on this news (I was on vacation at the time):
"Newmarket Films (the company who released PASSION OF THE CHRIST) has acquired US rights to Gabriel Range's DEATH OF A PRESIDENT. This political thriller, which mixes archival footage with narrative elements, examines the aftermath of the fictional assassination of President George W. Bush in the style of a retrospective documentary. The film had its World Premiere on Sunday, Sept. 10 at the Toronto Film Festival."
Did anyone see it; what's the scoop?
