The debate . . .

Now, I know a lot of you were slightly curious why my day yesterday turned into a pile of premordal soup. Bottom line, my car sucks.

Every time I get a sizable chunk of cash it seems to take a dump on me.

Now, it's a 92 Jeep Cherokee. A pretty reliable car . . but . . . it's got almost 200k miles on it.

Final conclusion:

I think by summer of 2006 I'll have to look into the market for a new car. Now this is a pretty reasonable estimate, especially by my standards.

I do love my Jeep. It has a ton of sentimental value that would never EVER add up to a new car. But with time, things break, get worn out and ultimately die. I don't want a big truck because of space issues. And I don't want a car because well . . . I'm really fat. Can you see me drive a Honda Civic? I don't think so. So, I'm goin' Midsize. The Nissan Xterra looks really appealing to me. It has excellent ratings, except in suspension. So, the interior is ok. I'm not really keen on looks anyways. And it's built from a truck model. Like Jeeps. Instead of the Ford and Honda's where they are built from a car model.

I think when I get a new car I'll take the horn from my Jeep now, and put it in the new one. The boat would live on.

Night.
