ok....its been a while since ive updated. pretty much a whole month...ne ways. have u ever thought of the drumline people as just drummers...or have u thought of them as being percussionists. theres people in the line that just really only play one thing like the whole school year and thats it. doesnt that suck? i mean who wantsa just be a tenor player, or a snare player, or a bass player? u would wana be a well rounded percussionists with a great and positive attitude u know. even if times are rough, u need to think positive. as for me, u may see me playing snare, and u may think hes just a snare player. well, no im not. just cuz im leadstick doesnt mean im just a snare player. im a percussionist. i believe thats one of the reasons im leadstick cuz im a percussionist with a positive attitude. percussion is not only snare or bass or tenors...its hundreds of different kinds of instruments. arts drumset class is freakin awesome. u guys dont know what ur missing out on. who cares if u dont have a 7th period and u dont want a 7th period. this class is well worth that extra 45 minutes. people say that they r u guna take it next semester for one reason or the other. take it now...theres a bunch of lower classmen that wish they could take the class and u guys who r complaining about not having a 7th is stupid. but then again, the smaller the class the better cuz art can get more in depth with only a few people in the class. that class has already made a big improvement in my set playing. well thats it.
