(no subject)
Today was an amazing day!
I finally got to sleep in for once (until 10 :P) due to no work in the morning so that was a good start. I realized Geoff was talking about starting our rehearsal at his house around 11 so I rushed to call him to see what's going on and his mom tells me he's still sleeping. oh well. He called back and told me he sent us all an email talking about everything that was going on. Turns out Alex couldnt make it til 2 so thats when practice was gonna start.
Eat breakfast, play sega genesis with bros and slowly get ready and get a call around 12 from geoff saying that Alex can come so I head over to his house. OBVIOUSLY getting a froster on the way. Us 3 set up then go meet ben at the bus stop. We ran the songs once and it went totally awesome. Disambiguation and Clarity are the only two that aren't as tight as we'd like, the rest went really well. Just turns out we're closing with those two songs at the ex so we gotta polish em up before then which shouldnt be a problem. Morgey calls AS we were talking about him and asks if he can come over and watch us play a set. So we took a little break, ate some cookies and chilled. "WHAT?! HILLS?! THATS NOT ALLOWED" ahahahaha.
We run the songs again and it went really well and morgey liked it a lot, said we had a good live act too which we really wanted to hear. woot. So then we're walking to the bus stop and Eva and Nancy start yelling at me from across the street, it was kind of scary at first lol but alex and ben had to get the bus so we got frosters, they took the bus and then morgey and I headed over to her house to see what's going on. We got in a *fight* in the doorway and we asked Nancy to mediate. Didn't work to well as it lead to us fighting with shocker-tennis rackets haha. They were going to a movie and since morgey and I are poor we didnt go.
The we went our seperate ways for dinner only to meet up an hour later! We're too awesome. So as Im about to go meet him lisa calls and wants to hang out. Major bonus. So we go to meet her at the bus stop but she doesnt show so we come back to my house in case she calls which she eventually does, then we went out and met her at macs. Got frosters, chilled at the park, saw Bethanna from work, talked about everything. It was very nice. Then we all came back to my house and talked. Man my mom totally loves lisa haha. She was flipping out about how much she used to look like her and how nice she is hahaha.
Then to top it all off I get a call from Birkey! He's back! YAY! He wanted to hang out when he'd get home (9:30) but I couldnt so we're hanging out tomorrow! totally awesome way to end a day, to hear your best friend is back from a forever long trip to freakin Hawaii hahaha. GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK LOVER!
So after that and many good laughs later we go to the bus stop and see Eva and her friends again coming back from the movie. haha insane coincidence. Then they all left.
