I cannot believe how much I really missed.. how much we all missed. Our drumline is a family, just waiting to grow. I was amazed at how great of a time we had... just hanging around, slamming the director about everything he's done to us, and playing loud and crazy, but full of passion. I'm gonna get a real nice talk from mr. nagel tomorrow, because all of our new heads have been utterly punctured. But what do I care- we had the time of our lives. We played at the varsity soccer game, and we even got free food for our presense. Everyone loved Cowbell- our signature cadance. I love my line- my family. I'm the only girl, currently, and I was right at home with the guys there. I got alot of jokes thrown at me- I just hurled 'em back. I'm really going to miss Alan... never thought I'd say it but... he can be wild and crazy and stuff, but the heart inside and when he's around me is just amazing. He's the leader we all needed, and next year it's my turn. I am in awe currently, it was the best time our line has ever had as one. I know the secret to a great line now... and I'm gonna work all summer to achieve it. It's just weaning in the freshmen that will base our doings, so we'll be an even larger family- it's like I said, we're just waiting to grow. I gotta say through all the laziness I love them all. Thanks guys, for a totally f'in awesome performance!!!!!!
of course, this awesome night costs me round 50 to replace those heads. i'll do it... just hope to god nagel doesnt notice at first how bad those heads got.
