Yeah I know, it looks like a lot, but it's going to be so awesome. Also, I'm taking 2 classes over the summer at Berklee to catch me up and be considered a 3rd semester student. This summer at Berklee, I'm taking lessons with Kenwood Dennard. He's played with a lot of famous people: George Clinton, Chick Corea, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Whitney Houston, Wayne Shorter, and Joe Zawinul. It's going to be awesome.
As much as I love Berklee, I'm kind of ready to go back home. Back when I was at RIC, I never fully appreciated Rhode Island until now. Boston is an awesome city, but I would never live in the city for the rest of my life. I may have to if I want to work for orchestra pits on Broadway, but, I'm not thinking about that yet. I love the suburbs. I'm sure by July, I'll be ready to go back to Berklee. I'm so happy to be here. Berklee has so far been an awesome educational experience for me. I can't wait to start in the fall with all of those drum classes.
This summer is going to be great: Fantasy Works, Part Time @ Berklee, Private Lessons, Playing for Voice Labs @ Berklee, Practicing, RELAXING
I saw my cousin Ethan on Friday. It was awesome seeing him again. We're gonna practice with the band we formed back in December and also have some gigs this summer. Ethan is also planning on creating a theatre company next summer and he wants me to be the Music Coordinator for it. I think it's going to be awesome. He also wants me to possibly act in it as well. I haven't acted since Peter Pan, but I'd love to get back into acting.
Friday night, I saw Inside Man with Carl and Ivan. That was an awesome movie. Clive Owen was good in it, so was everyone else. It was definitely a surprise how it all came together. Saturday, Carl's friend Jess stayed over. She was cool to talk to. I also saw Anthony and Briana at MIT where their ballroom dance competition was. It was great seeing them again. Today, Carl, Jess, and I went to Fanieul Hall and got some lunch and Fried Ice Cream. Later on, I visited Samantha at BU. I had an awesome time talking to her. We've hardly ever had time to just sit and talk. She's only 3 blocks away, which is great.
That's about it for now.
Later.
