So I guess it's time for an update

Well hello there!

How's it going?

Let's see...summer has gone by very fast. It's been very busy. I've made a lot of new connections for future music gigs. So far, I've only done 2 gigs this summer, but it's still a big deal. I played for Jesus Christ Superstar in Worchester at the end of July and played for a caberet 2 days ago.

DCI Semifinals were last Thursday. It was alright. I loved the Boston Crusaders, the Cavaliers, the Blue Coats, and the Blue Knights. The bands that I was looking forward to weren't as good as I thought. The Blue Devils show was alright. Santa Clara Vanguard has an awesome drumline, but this year, they were just....boring. And their show was also boring. That was a disappointment. Also, the istband that one that night, the Cadets, had a ridiculous show. I don't know about anyone else, but I thought it was the worst show of the night.

RIC classes start August 29th. I have to take 5 required music classes, and I'm also taking Western History and Writing. Luckily, I can transfer Western History and Writing to Berklee, but I can't transfer the music classes. What's good is that the music classes will help me get out of some music theory classes at Berklee. I can't waut to go to Berklee. It's going to be so awesome.

I've been listening to a lot of new music. Well, the music isn't new to the world, but it's new to me. Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, and the Who. I really like Jethro Tull. Their stuff is awesome. Same with Pink Floyd. Dark Side of the Moon is a masterpiece. Everyone must own that album. Anyone ever hear of Blues Traveler? They're good too. They're from the early 90's. The popular song of their's is "Run Around." I recommend it.

I'm out. Later.
