Eleven percent of the United States' population suffers from food insecurity.
In Birmingham, in the East end alone, 47% of families are living below the poverty line, and 24% of those families don't own a car with which to drive where food is cheapest, so their families might actually have a chance of surviniving on minumum wage. To make sure these families get food, a non-profit org. called Magic City Harvest was started. The problem is that they too, have no money.
So...come help?
