I don't really understand what is going on, honestly. You and me - we're good people. Great friends.

Sometimes I wish I could take all of your pain and put it into me, that way you wouldn't have to feel it. You are a great person. A wonderful person, and you're standing on your own two feet. You've changed a lot - and a person only can change for themselves, not for others.

I give you credit - you are becoming the person you want to be. Don't let anyone convince you that doing things for yourself makes you a bad person.

Brian, whether or not we last is not an issue in my mind. We do have our problems, but we've always been real to each other. You've truly been a best friend to me. You don't lie. You tell it to me like it is. You aren't afraid to tell me things. And you can confide in me. That in itself means the world to me.

You are an amazing person, Brian. I wish you all of the best in the world - and I especially hope I can be there by your side to witness it all with you. But if not - thank you, for being you.
