Tis the beginning of summer break and I'm already yearning for classes to start again... [unfortunately I'm broke and my current scholarship doesn't provide funding for summer sessions - otherwise, I'd be all over that!]
But, only two more semesters and I can transfer to a prestigious institution! Or so I tell myself, ha.
Ya know, I haven't confided in my lovely LJ in a long time... it's quite nice. I take satisfaction in knowing that it won't be read by many people [if any at all] unlike what I divulge on Facebook. I purposely craft those posts to be vague since they'll be seen by everyone and their mother. Here I can actually write anything I damn well please!
Well, I suppose that's it for an update... since it's almost 3 a.m. and I'm obliged to [attempt to] organize my corner of ze house around 10 a.m.
Then I'll be free to cruise on down to the Hobe Sound to be with my love and eat festive fiesta food in honor of Cinco de Mayo [perhaps we'll imbibe some not-so-delicious "cereal-beer" just for the holiday, too!]. Why do Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo, anyway? Seems like it's just another excuse to indulge in alcoholic beverages...
