[The sound of drumming fills the air, but that's about all that Can be heard. Manic's at the junkyard with a full drum set, practicing. But he's staring intently at one of the junk heaps while he plays.

Eventually it begins to shake apart as the grounds rumbles.]

Crashin`! Still got the skills.

[Manic gives himself a victory drum solo,

Are you okay, Manic?

Yeah I'm fine. That was sudden though,

[Manic's now flying safely over any wreckage and keeping an eye out for victims.]

What about you?

Aren't all earthquakes sudden?

[A pause.]

I'm fine. Some stuff fell here, but nothing that can't be fixed.

[drummerhedgehog]

I guess, but I've never been hit by an earthquake while making my own.

[fearstehwomen]

...You make earthquakes?

[drummerhedgehog]

[Here, have a blank look that's more or less saying 'explain yourself, Manic.']

What? I didn't cause this quake. I got the "Use this power carefully" lecture the first day I got it.

[fearstehwomen]

Okay. Then...what caused it?

[drummerhedgehog]

No idea. I make them, I don't sense when other things do. I've got no superpowers or anything for that.

[fearstehwomen]

...You can make earthquakes, but you don't have superpowers?

[Just...staring at you now.]
