Ok, so this is a little behind....
Camp went well, had 3 new people. There were 14 members total there. And there’s going to be about 5more at next camp, so we are going to be around 20 next camp, hopefully there will be even more closer to 30. This looks like its going to be a good year for us, we just need to get past the 20 mark and then get to that 30 mark that we have to be at to compete. I got told I haven't improved as much as I should have for Ross not seeing me play in 3 yrs. Which is my fault, but lets see.... 2005: I was forced to play snare and all we really did was buzz and play the cadence, 2006: I was on tenors, and didn’t really have anyone teach me how to actually play them till tour, 2007: was DM, but teched most of the camps, and then was asked to go back on 4th bass like not even 2 months before our first parade, so I didn't really play at all that year. I know I should have been practicing on my own, but still...
In other news, Kellie is now 21 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!), and Dave just graduated College today. So I’m now the only one that hasn't graduated (great). I'm not in a big hurry to either. The dude that talked (ceo, or something of United Way) gave a story saying that his dad at the age of 60 still didn't know what he wanted to be when he grew up. And like 2yrs later went to become a priest and now, at the age of like 84, he's a priest at a church somewhere around here. He was actually a good speaker. We went to Mongolian BBQ afterwards, which was good, haven’t been there in a long time.
Speaking of school, I got some loans. and talked to some chick from financial aid. And I can sign up for classes and not worry about paying by friday. So I'm going to be doing that soon, just need to finalize what I want to take (like figure out my schedule) I'm pretty sure on what it's probably going to look like.
