Life update
Wow, I haven’t written an actual, honest to goodness “this is what’s up with me” blog in forever. Now seems like a good time.
Two awesome things happened today. First, I found out that I passed my special education certification test!!! As soon as I finish up this semester I can apply for my certification. On that same train of thought, I recently registered for my final five Master’s classes! I know I just started, but I’m ready to be done!
The second awesome thing that happened today is I got mine and Mary’s tickets in the mail for the 100 Monkeys Spencer Bell Memorial shows!! Woo hoo!!! I’m definitely ready for my Monkey fix! (I just wish Ben would grow his face fuzz back in the next two weeks. RIP stache. *sniffle*)
If you’re my facebook friend then I’m sure you’re already very, very tired of my constant Twilight posts. Unfortunately for you, it’s only going to get worse, since Monica made me a co-admin of Edward’s Golden Eyes! (If you haven’t visited, please do. www.edwardsgoldeneyes.com) I love the website and the work Monica and the staff has done, and I’m proud of the work I’ve put in, so I’m thrilled to take on that role! It’s also been nice to have the opportunity to flex my writing muscles again, even if only occasionally write an exclusive post. It’s an opportunity that I’m incredibly grateful for.
A few other exciting things are happening, but nothing I can mention at this moment. I’ll just say that God has been good to me, and has been opening doors to me lately that I never would have expected. Life is wild, and I’m trying to take the advice of a very dear friend and try to trust God to get me where I’m supposed to go and just sit back and enjoy the ride.
So there you go. That’s my life in a nutshell.
