The Secret's Out.
Okey dokey. It's revealing time...
Even though I bet half of you guys know this already, there's the few who don't. For quite a while, I've been trying out for the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps and I made the Pit. It's Divi II, so it's not quiiite as intense in summer, but I'll basically be gone on the weekends. So yeah.
Carrie made a Drum Corps.
The show is music from "Moulin Rouge," and right now, includes the following numbers: "Diamonds," "Can-Can," "Your Song," and my personal favorite, "El Tango de Roxanne."
Now that that's been said, I have one more thing to say. As you know, the Boston Crusaders are coming down and using SP as a host school during June 27th to the 30th. They're coming down because of the DCI show in Westminster, MD on June 30th. I just would like to let y'all know that Jersey Surf will be at the show as well. So it'll make me feel a lot better if I had a bunch of SP kids there, since this is the closest I can get to a home show in MD. It's also pretty sweet, because there's two snare players that are from around here too; both incredibly awesome guys. Kris, who goes to Mt. St. Joe, and Dru, a graduate from Broadneck. It's awesome that there's people in Surf who live like, right around the corner. If you go to the show, cheer them on. Those two guys are amazing.
Alright. That's enough for now. So, mark your calenders/get tickets/do nothing, whichever you like. But if you do decide to go, that would be great.
