... and along comes the weekend!
It's 11 A.M. on Friday morning, and I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend after all of my classes... but guess what! I have three mid-terms next week, so I'll be spending the majority of my weekend buried in the books. I've got a 5-hour [yeah, you read that correctly FIVE HOUR] Managerial Accounting mid-term, a 2-hour Marketing mid-term, and a 2-hour Business Law mid-term. My Macroeconomics mid-term got rescheduled to a week from this Thursday, thank goodness!
Chris had wanted to come visit me this weekend, but it's for the best that I get all this darn studying done. I've got to finish up my reading for my Economics term paper and research topics for my Marketing speech and term paper. On top of that, I've got to update my resume and send it out to the hiring churches so that I can line up church work for August (and hopefully, I'll get hired at the UMC Church full-time starting in September).
I'm also going to work out today and Sunday, make a deposit at the bank, buy some books from Barnes & Noble on DUBAI, and whatever else may come...
Yesterday was probably the longest day I'd had in a while. Candace and I met up for lunch at Lupas Tortilla, which had really awesome food. Economics class was loooooong, as normal. Kristal came over and spent the night afterwards. We watched Bend It Like Beckham and we didn't get to sleep until 2:30ish or 3:00. So yeah, nevertheless to say, I'm somewhat tired.
I can't wait to go home... where everybody knows my name :) I still have to confirm plans and whatnot... but I can't wait to go back!
