college life
wow...college life is so...awesome. everyone is so relaxed. i don't feel nervous or uptight like i did in high school. too cool.
my sanitation and safety teacher is cool. although i have trouble understanding him sometimes, he's got a thick asian accent. he wants us to call him by his first name, clarence.
my english teacher is this black woman, mrs. fuqua. she's funny. she partnered us up today(my first day in that class) for writing and checking essays for the semester, and i got a pretty cool partner. his name is matt, and he's into surfing and plays guitar. what's w/ me and guys who play guitar? anyways, he just got back from surfing in costa rica so we talked about that. cool kid.
my student success teacher is PSYCHOPATHIC. she was talking about people sotomizing(sp?) this dude on the beach with a pipe last summer. what the hell does that have to do w/ the class? she's very...animated. then she proceeded to tell us about her sons encounter w/ God...that was a hoot.
still have one more class to start on thursday...looking forward to that. a law class. good times.
i miss my late night conversations. i haven't had a good conversation in a while... :(
maybe i'll write another poem tonight after homework...i'm feeling creative.
