So I almost completely forgot about this. I can never seem to find time to post in it anymore. Maybe I will once winter arrives and Becca and I hibernate a bit.
Lately I've just been enjoying our week off of work. We went and camped at Assateague Island down on the eastern shore. Good times except for the flood that happened a few days before we arrived, making the sand we slept on rock hard. And then the massive amounts of biting flies that wouldn't go the hell away. But other than that, we had an awesome time. Stayed from Monday to Wednesday. Today we're going down to the outlets on the other side of the Bay Bridge. After that, not sure what our plans are. Tomorrow eveniing we're heading up to Philly for an art exhibition, and Sunday is the Ravens game at 4. Then it's back to work on Monday. I have to survive at the hellhole (Hopkins) for another few years until we can save up enough to move again. I always knew that hospital sucked before. But now that I work there, it's even worse. I get to see it all first hand. They break so many rules it's not even funny. And the running joke amongst employees (who aren't nurses or doctors), is that Hopkins takes forever to hire you, and after they do, they try to find every reason they can to fire you. At first I thought it was just the usual talk from the bitter old guys who are stuck there. But I've seen and heard too many things. Sucks having to watch your ass everytime you turn around when you're just simply trying to do your job. Oh well.
Portland or bust, baby.
