Man, saying "goodbye" to all your friends that you will, most likely, never see again is not easy at all. I should have forseen this, but even now with all of my stuff packed and my room as bare as it is it doesn't seem like I'm leaving. This always happens to me though. The night before I left for Towson in August I didn't feel like I was leaving. Perhaps that's just how it works? Its just this whole ordeal where after having developed a social structure and a core group of friends for myself that I have to leave them.
I just said goodbye to
Casey, we had a goodbye kiss and it is terribly depressing. I hate that we didn't even have a chance to try anything (though a relationship would have ended in the same way regardless of when could have started anything) but I just feel like its been a big tease where I could have had this relationship but it was out of my grasp because of the circumstances. It's like a famished person who has food dangling in front of them but its just out of their reach. Gotta move on. Doesn't mean I have to stop listening to sappy music though.
Even though I'm leaving Towson tomorrow morning I won't be home until the first of June. My dad and I are going around Maryland (Annapolis, Baltimore, Ocean City and Six Flags) into North Carolina (Outer Banks) and as far south as South Carolina (Charleston). It will be a nice mini-vacation, but really I'm just done with all of this. I'm ready to come home and see everyone back there.
