FIRE!!!
My toaster oven caught on fire today! I wasn't the cook though. I came home from class and the whole place was smoky. Think of the Flash fried cow from ATHF going into a toaster oven, exploding, and then the grease catching on fire. That's what Brant compared it to.
I saw the Symphonic Wind Ensemble tonight. They were really good. I really enjoyed the piece by Grieg and everything after the intermission. As I type that, I remember the other songs that were played and then I'm like scratch that. The whole concert was good so if anyone from SWE reads this, you guys were awesome.
I love my Uncle Pete. I missed a call from him while at the concert so after saying great job on your solos to Mollie and Corey, I left and called Pete. He and I talked. We laughed pretty hard, he gave me advice on life and people, said we love and miss one another, and hung up. I miss that guy. It's been like five years since I've seen him in person. Well at least I get to see him next summer at Bestemor and Bestefar's 50th. That's right folks, next June my grandparents will have been married for a half century.
I slept in this morning. It was really weird. I heard my alarm clock going off at 7:30. I heard it going off at 8. When I woke uo next I looked at the clock and it said 9:52. Crap, definitely missed theory. Closed my eyes for a minute, rolled back over and the clock said 9:35. WTF?!? It went backwards. Now I know that retardedness was somehow a factor here, but it was still weird. Woke up, ran to theory, got there as class was getting out and found out I didn't miss anything. Then I walked to GCB and learned about black holes. Those are cool kids there.
