Purse snatching!
We've got triple digit weather here so the ceiling fans are going 24/7 and I kick on the A/C just enough to knock down the heat for the cats. Poor things spend their day stretched out on the tile floor or by a window where there's a bit of a breeze. Wait a minute...that's how they spend every day!
So, I got tagged by gilpin25 to do this purse/handbag meme. Problem is, I don't own a purse. That's what pockets are for. However, I do bring a backpack to work, so that's what you're gonna get instead.
Here be the rules, should you stumble upon my journal and feel like playing.
1. Take a picture of your bag.
2. Now dump everything out and neatly adjust them, and take a picture (no matter how embarrassing).
3. Talk about the items inside. Detail.
4. Tag 6 people. ( don't tag the person that was already tagged).
Here's my backpack. Is it any surprise to you that it's a Hawaiian print? It's got way too many pockets including two nifty side mesh pockets for a water bottle or cold Pepsi.
1) House and car keys. I've thought about having the Drummer engraving changed to read Drumher, but can't see how that would work.
2) iPod protective case & ear buds for lunch time entertainment.
3) Belkin iPod charger. The plug swivels so you can plug it into those tight spots on a power strip. Plus it's half the price of an Apple charger.
4) Sunscreen. Don't go outside without it.
5) Chapstick and spare pony tail, for when it's windy outside or when I get fed up with my hair.
6) Wallet. Contains one debit card. One credit card. A little cash but not much else. Fits perfectly in my back pocket.
7) Pen in Hawaiian print (again) that I bought at the ABC Store in Waikiki. Made in China, naturally.
8) A Tin of Mints with cool reproduction of a Hawaiian travel poster on cover. Made in Kauai, surprisingly.
9) Bones. Irish rhythm percussion instrument that I'm learning to play. They're sort of like Spoons, only you don't play them on your leg.
10) David's book. Just barely started so don't ask me how I like it yet.
11) Glasses and case.
12) Cheap sunglasses with no bling.
Not tagging anyone as most of my flist has already done this meme.
