A Week in the Life of Drumher, Vol. 3

No Zombies lurking about to liven things up so I've made it a point to feature pictures of adorable cats to distract you from realizing just how lackluster my Friday was.

I've been looking at pictures of your cats at 6:45 in the morning thinking 'thank god that normally doesn't happen to me' because slacker that I am, I close the door and lock the bitty kitty in the bathroom so she can still litter-train. But she's good now - and guess who was sleeping then fighting on my pillow at 6am?

I thought about taking a picture but it was too much effort ;)

I have to get up early on week days, so having energetic cats is usually helpful. Unfortunately, they don't understand the concept of weekends and I often need to get up & feed them so they'll leave me alone and I can go back to bed.

There have been a few times when Fran has woken me by pawing at my head at around 4 AM and nobody's cute enough to get away with that!

LOL. I see they're training you well. ;)

I'm away a week and you're posting kitty pics? Well, obviously I realise there's more to your day than that, but I fixated on them first. And your TV screen second - that looks a nice big one that I'm eyeing somewhat enviously, lol.

As you're replying to LJ posts at Meta, I should probably be elsewhere...

I did wait to start until Wednesday...

LOL. My plan worked perfectly. Muwahahahaha.

I got very good deal on it. Some guy I know bought a house and the previous owners left their 42" Plasma TV behind. He replaced it with a 60" so I offered him $300 to take the unwanted one off his hands. By the time it's ready to be replaced, the price for flatscreens ought to be down to a reasonable price.

As you're replying to LJ posts at Meta, I should probably be elsewhere...

Like, over there? LOL. Perhaps posting something over there? ;)

Welcome back. I look forward to seeing your holiday recap.

Am now torn between coming to see your 42" and meeting this man with a 60"! I know, size doesn't matter, and you have got the cats so it's no contest really. ;)

I really meant admiring yours which I've been looking at again today, but my fingers have been frantically typing since I've been back and I think I'm about halfway there. So far I'm quite pleased with it, which is a worry as I normally hate them at this stage. I've pinched the floor prompt though so between us we're doing a nice DIY job. LOL.

Thank you.:D Came back to no gas, and no hot water, which was fun, but it's nice to be home and Rosie was very happy to see us. I have about 150 photos to wade through so brace yourself.

Well, he does have a gorgeous million dollar modern-style beach house in Hermosa Beach complete with an indoor water fall. But, no cats so you'll just have to make do with 42". ;)

Can't wait to read it. Didn't you have "want" as a prompt? Goes nicely with "Floor", methinks.

I'm ready to gush over holiday snaps so bring it on!

nice monitor, and also nice sticker on the monitor.
Vans!
The lack of zombies is appealing to me. Not a big fan of the living dead.

The "monitor" is actually the entire computer, which makes it almost as easy to transport as a laptop. I don't fall in love with technology often but when I saw the iMac G5s come out, I knew I had to have one!

Vans rock. I wore my Duke Kahanamoku slip ons yesterday and you can see them if you look closely at my WITL post for Sunday.

I'm not a big fan of Zombies and the only Zombie movie I've ever seen is "Shaun of the Dead", which I highly recommend due to the fact that it's not all about Zombies. And it's Simon Pegg.

Shaun of the Dead is amazing. (As is Hot Fuzz.)
hehehe, Simon Pegg.
