Yea, there is definitely an Apple-ish feel to it. Then again, when doing "eye candy", there is really only so much you can do. Speaking of old machines, I'm now running it on my desktop as well...a P4 1.7 with 768mb RAM, and a 128mb Radeon 9600 SE graphics card. I'm running the "Windows Vista Aero" interface with it, which is their high-end stuff. I'll have some screenshots at some point. It's a little sluggish on this machine, but definitely usable. I'm impressed.

I loved the Goo Goo Dolls, but wasn't impressed with the Counting Crows. They were trying to be creative but I think that rubbed lots of people the wrong way (myself included). I wasn't a big CC fan to begin with, but the songs I like, I've heard on the radio, and wanted to hear them played at least sort of like that. Wasn't really the case. I admire their attempt to be innovative though, just wasn't feeling it.

Yes, its a small but very important feature...one of my favorite. Now I can have music blasting and not have an IM sound knock me out of my seat when I get a message.
