oh, good news from the theatre once again. I got the part in Godspell, so I'll be drumming in that show at the end of July. it's gonna be at Trinity Episcopal Church on Stanford, and I'll get u more info when it becomes available to me. should be a hoot.

hey guess what?!?!?!? I was in the paper yesterday!!!!! they reviewed pump boys. gave it a critical eye, but hey, it's their job. but the 2nd to last paragraph is about me!!!!! the columnist said, and I quote, "A big hats off to Britt Kelly. The LSU sophomore isn't even a theater major, yet he held his own in a number featuring just the local talent and provided solid drumming accompaniment to the band," end quote. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! dude, I was excited when they said put our names in as the chorus. they actually wrote a paragraph about me!!!!!! man, this so totally rocks.
I wrote a new song, I was proud of myself. I broke my model by going 3/4 instead of 4/4. it's a real pretty song, I think. it's got a bluesy feel to it, but it's real melodic. I wrote it in G (can't shake all my tendencies, lol). I even left room for a solo, lol. not sure who would be performing that, but hey, w/e.
