haha i know you did, and it made me laugh, but got me no closer to a solution!!! I originally thought of it as a polite no, but Jen took it as he likes me and i was too stupid to say, "hey, what do you mean by that?" i was just happy he didn't make it awkward!!!

totally invite him to a group thing and see how that goes. its not too upfront and if things go well u can always separate yourselves from the group. its a toss up. test the water a lil. dont sound too desperate but no uninterested. good lucky girl :-)
