okay now me making that metaphor was me just being silly and not meant to be taken as "animal cruelty". When a metaphor is used it normally isnt taken seriously or literally. So if you consider it a metaphor then its meant not to be taken literally. And who am I as in ME to judge anyone on their opinions? Being someone who quotes stuff from the bible should know that judgment only should come from one person, or atleast thats the only one that matters. So what place am I to criticize other people? And I am not telling you what to eat because personally I do eat meat but I BELIEVE killing animals in a cruel way for materialistic values is something I am against. So for it or not, you play no part in trying to sway others towards your beliefs.

if you're quoting the bible because, to you, it is something other than classic literature, then may i suggest that you also look into the ethics it encourages concerning our attitudes and the way we express them. i'd suggest the book of james. the book of james continuously reminds us how much damage our tongue can do.(ie- being short tempered or cold hearted) i am hoping so much that you are a christian, and that because of how harsh you've been, someone else will think of less of jesus and me and other believers. if you arent a believer and happen to be up on your bible reading, then im sure shakespeare had something to say about animals and their comsupmtion; use his stuff next time.

p.s. im not down with PETA either.
