Random blessings & Father's Day
Yesterday was a really crummy day, but it turned around 180° and went straight towards an excellent night! Despite call offs at work that left us royally screwed (6 call offs and 2 no-shows) I managed to end my shift in higher spirits. I stumbled across a pair of skeleton keys, which I thought was weird because I've been looking for a set for the past month! One of my co-workers said she loved skeleton keys so I took one and gave her the other. This isn't the first thing like this to happen at work, just last week a Pagan friend at work had two pentacle earrings sitting next to her belongings that came out of nowhere. I suspect fae activity, but who knows.
I also got to spend some quality time with mom last night. We've kinda been at each other's throats the past few days but, like always, we bitched til we couldn't bitch anymore and bonded. Of course wine and beer was involved, she had her friends over during the day and I just needed something to take the edge off after work! Then after she went to bed I took my drum outside and charged the key necklace. I couldn't see the moon, but mid drumming I saw a shooting star in the sky! It was so cool to feel so close to everything.
