I submitted my intention letter for the IP the other night, and I admit I'm a little excited. Now that school is on a hiatus I have more free time to clean up around the house, get back to cooking, prepare for the holidays (so much garland...) and time to read. I got back into Ted Andrews' "Animal Speak" and I forgot how much I enjoy his writing style. I also picked "Arcana Mundi" back up, but I didn't have my highlighter and ultimately with it being a reference book I don't want to miss pointing anything out.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone already working on their IP had any pointers they'd care to share? Unlike the DP it doesn't come with a handy-dandy binder for easy reference and practice examples. Someone already shared that you can combine your journaling for Trance, Divination, and Magic as long as you separate them by category. And realistically I'd like to work on all three of those at the same rate.
I'm going to give it a couple months working at a leisurely pace, but I have no time frame expected for completion. How long, on average, does it take to complete? I finished the DP just shy of the 2-year estimate. I think that expecting to finish one requirement from the IP every other high day is reasonable, that gives me 12 weeks to finish any of the courses that don't require journaling.
Ultimately it'll get finished when it gets finished, and I'm not in any rush. But I work better when there's a basic game plan set up and I really do appreciate every piece of advice I'm given.. even if it takes me three to four months to realize you were right!
