It's finally over!
Congratulations to President-elect Obama! His acceptance speech was incredibly moving, and McCain's concession speech was very classy.
Although I did not vote for Obama, I am cautiously optimistic as he moves forward. I think his toughest challenge may be herding the jackassesdonkeys in his own party. I hope he is up to it.
Good thing: Kay Hagen beat Elizabeth Dole.
Bad things: We are sending Virginia Foxx back to Washington and Bev Perdue to Raleigh. So much for change...
