Fire Sucks Hardcore!!
Well as I sit here thinking about shit...I still can't get over losing everything in a fire. I mean sure I'm alive and living is a great thing but losing everything you owned sucks. See I had my mom and younger sister living with me. My parents have been sperated since I was a young pup..but they are still the best of friends and almost got back together in the late 80's but that didn't work out to well but I did get a cool little sister out of the deal...but I'm going off topic.
My baby sister is in college now so my mom needed a place where the rent was reasonible and my sister could go to school full time and not worry about working to help out with the rent. So I we agreed to get a new place together. This place was awesome. I had an office attached to my bedroom where I kept my brand new computer, All the comics I have aquired since 87-88, And my novel collection. My bedroom was super huge...I've never had a room this big it always looked empty even with all my crap in it.
Well on sunday all that stuff went up in flames.....
All I remember is someone yelling fire at about 4am and my younger sister coming to tell me about it and me yelling at her and my girlfriend to get out of the house(My mother was in Florida visiting my uncle. Thanks God.). The smoke was so full of hot burning ash i felt like my chest was gonna explode and to be honest the angels carried me down the stairs because i dont remember making any turns to going down the stiars. I just remember the hot ash smoke and yelling to my sister and girlfriend who I couldn't see to hold on to one another and whatever they do to get out. Well we did get out....
The lady from the first floor apartment (Stephanie Colon) saved our lives. She's a hero.
