Overall, I very fun time. The attendees were amazingly nice, and I already miss some of the friends that I have made.

Hee hee, yes, any good artist learns to let nasty little remarks that people don't think (or don't care that) we hear roll off. (Can't tell you how many times I get the same ol' "They look scary like that...they look better in anime, etc, etc.")

I'm glad to hear it went well, all things concidered. I imagine that there will always be a demand for your art, even if you've been to that con before.

I'm glad you had fun!
Hope to sit next to you at least once again this year!
You going to Anime Next and Otakon?

Dara!

Can you email me your Address again, I still have that picture for you. Sadly, I am supposed to be graduating the same weekend as AN. (I am serious thinking about skipping that though) So it doesn't seem I will be able to make it to AN. I am sooo bummed. Otakon thought,.... it would take an act of god to keep me away!

Tara, I just heard the most horrible news...no fanart allowed to be sold at Otakon this year...and it's not a misprint. It's on the Otakon boards as announced by the lady in charge. It's uncertain whether this includes the Art show, but it probably will.
Also, if you were still trying to go to ANime Next instead of graduation, I can't go. My friend is getting married that weekend.
I'm gonna look into other cons around the area, maybe even farther out than I would have gone before. Do you go to the one in Virginia? AnimeUSA?
