I don't always sound so clueless, really I don't!

How many of you have heard your own voice on a recording or answering machine and thought to yourself; "How the hell can that be me? --Do I really sound like that..?" Then by the same token or train of thought decided that you cant even begin to sit there and listen to your own voice and scramble to either skip to the next message or hit the button, or key pad keystrokes to delete the damn thing? If you are not one of those people, I applaud... because your probably lying to yourself. ;)
Regardless of the wonderful *cough* bonus features that the LJ voice postings have to offer, I cant really say that I like its means of transcription. Most of the time I could probably hit the button to clarify/transcribe it myself but then again, I really dont think about it half the time to be honest.
In unrelated news, for those of you who are humanitarians and/or like hearing about the progress of the older generation toward some semblance of recovery... These note is for you; otherwise please see page 42. -- For those of you who know and those of you that don't my wife and I are taking care of her grandmother. With that being said, grandma does walk on occasion albeit not very far. Her mental state has begun to clear ever so slightly and her orientation to her surroundings... although still shy of being in the present, she has now begun to speak a little more English unlike after her last big stroke she wasn't speaking any English what so ever. Her understanding to her new limitations to the situation are clear enough it seems, although her basic instincts to defend herself are very clear and sometimes take initiative to the most basic of tasks. --Her intake of fluids are good although we have learned that letting her hold the glass isn't such a good idea. The lip of the glass will sometimes start at her nose and she'll slide the cup down to her lips before she even tips the glass to drink. Its a start, odds are she'll be around for her next birthday.

Otherwise since I still participate in the World of Warcraft, for those of you again not really caring about this topic please see page 37; --Although I have not participated in any 10 or 25 man raids, and with only scoring a few pieces of gear out of heroic dungeons or crafted gear, I want those of you interested in checking out this little audit site that I have grown to love and respect to check out my characters standings;
Shánnárá of Lightninghoof Note: if the link doesn't work right there's a problem with the lettering and being parsed at least by my browser when I try to link it. if you have this same problem please feel free to copy and past the following name to clear it up; Shánnárá so understanding the problem is part of the solution. ;) mwah if that still brings up an error, generate a new report just make sure that its selected as a US server, realm lightninghoof and tada. ;)
With the introduction of the dual specs in World of Warcraft, new to the release of the 3.1 patch I'm going to set my second spec as a healer, I've already got the beginnings of a set in that angle of game play, in fact before the release of Wrath of the Lich King I was a healer for a while. I'll be interested to see how things pan out as far as that's concerned.

Otherwise as far as the home front is concerned, not much is really worth reporting. I'm really enjoying the new car, and enjoy taking it around town and what not. The oil really should be changed as we've broken the 1k mark, and we still have some work as far as breaking in the engine. But more information will come as follows. For those of you following this journal please note: Facebook and twitter.. albeit I dont really do much with either. ;) Oh well maybe I'll get better... or not. depends on how much attention I put into it.
