It's always odd to re-read things you have written in times gone by. I'm so glad I've had this journal for so many years, one thing that's remained the same, even when I change everything else around.

I have a trial at Tony & Guy Leichhardt on Thursday this week. A four year apprenticeship instead of a four year degree. At least when I finish
it, I'll actually be doing something practical that I like. Unfortunately, the poverty situation won't change too much as a first year apprentice, but that's something I've learned to live with, and when I become a second year apprentice, fortunately things will become a little easier.

It is hot. Pan is hot. He's a melted cat, sprawled out on a chair, eyes half closed, breathing slowly and cooling down. I wish I was a cat, then I could focus on the most important things in life: food, company, shiny things, sleep.

I got a tattoo the other week

I really like it. My friends really like it. I wonder if my parents will like it? I really doubt it.
