I'm frustrated with my uni, because I can't find out any of the books I need for the four subjects I'll be studying next semester until just before term starts. I am doing two English subjects which will probably consist of about 10 novels/plays/books of poetry that I'll need to read, so it would have been really nice if I could find out what I needed to read to get a head start! That head start was pretty crucial to me last semester, and it would give me a mission for uni these holidays that would keep my mind active and stop me going stir crazy here at home. Unfortunately, time off is lovely, but I don't have a budget that can stretch to doing much more than I'd do during semester, and my shifts are pretty well set at work, so I'm holidaying on the cheap!
I keep dithering with my subject choices too. I think I want to take up French, because I'm embarrassed that my language skills are fading...fading...soon to be gone completely. This really bothers me. There's a lot of skills I possess that I feel are going the same way, so I need to practice French, piano and guitar playing these holidays so I don't lose these wonderful skills! (I should also get back on a horse, but I think I'd make my mum too excited, which is never a good idea! but maybe...)
Today is overcast, and I have no plans. I should go make some!
