So, I need a job, as the Jitterbug job fell through.
I was thinking that I might try for a job at the Best Buy at the Summit Place mall. Right up my ally, non? Although, now that Derek is working, and we can't seem to hold a job at the same time, that might prove difficult... but at least as a short term fix for my cashless existence i can sell my books back to the school for some much needed cash. Yeah. But hopefully I can haz a job in time for the Motor City Pride. Yes, I plan on attending. Yes, I did once say that I would never attend one, and no, I am not attending for the pride event. But as far as I am aware, its free admittance performance of one of my favorite singers, Eric Himan! He only performs for half an hour, from 4-4:30, but I plan to be there during that fantastic half hour.
MUST. SEE. ERIC. PERFORM!!!
and who knows, maybe it WON'T be a gratuitous display of naked male flesh and constant perpetuation of a negative stereotype. Maybe it'll be fun.
Either way, I'll be lookin' for someone else to accompany me.
On a somewhat related note, my ex, Steve, wants to take me out to dinner tomorrow. We'll see how this goes. I really want to be his friend, but he is having a hard time letting go of what we had. Tomorrow will either make or break our chances for a friendship.
Oh, and if you haven't seen Casino Royal yet, I highly recommend you do so. Daniel Craig walks around shirtless for about half the movie. I'm sure there is a plot in there somewhere, but if there was, I really didn't notice. All I can say is I hope that I am that hot when I'm 37.
